Telecare has multiple opportunities for Registered Nurses at our 12-bed secure adolescent (male and female) inpatient psychiatric unit for Adolescents between the ages of 13 to 17. The interdisciplinary team provides progressive recovery–based services to Adolescents who have mental illness.

Most important, you must be passionate about caring for adolescent clients with mental health issues, possess strong clinical reasoning skills, and demonstrate belief in Clients’ recovery.
One year of experience in an acute hospital is preferred as is inpatient psychiatric experience. Experience working with an adolescent population is highly preferred. Licensure in the State of California is required, as is graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a valid CPR certificate. A BS or BA degree is preferred. Necessary skills include the ability to work with clients with multiple disabilities, conduct an accurate assessment, and demonstrate willingness to participate as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment. The ability to supervise professional and paraprofessional staff, including making assignments and assisting with counseling and evaluations is crucial.
