The Advanced Practice Committee addresses contemporary advanced practice issues, with the main focus being practice in the state of California. The Committee is comprised of a Chairperson appointed by the Board and other members in good standing. Responsibilities include keeping abreast of new or evolving advanced practice issues, actively contributing to discussion of those issues within the Committee, formulating and recommending position statements for endorsement by the Chapter Board, engaging in activism to advocate for those positions, and helping to keep other Chapter members informed on these issues and positions by writing articles for the Chapter NetLetter.
